Technical Requirements for High-Alumina Anchoring Bricks Used in Hot Furnaces

High-alumina anchor bricks are high-alumina refractory bricks designed with a specific shape, used to secure and connect steel structures in industrial kiln shells or furnace linings by being embedded within the refractory material lining.

High-alumina anchor bricks are classified into three grades—LM-55, LM-65, and JVI-75—based on their physicochemical properties. Here, "L" and "M" stand for the first letters of the Chinese pinyin for "aluminum" and "anchor," respectively, while the Arabic numerals that follow indicate the mass percentage of aluminum oxide (Al₂O₃).
